Stranger as they come

This boy behaved quite annoyingly. in the MRT train, on my way home. He was not keeping to the usual good behaviour in a crowded train. No wonder, he is not local (not that all non-locals behave badly). Lesson in point: if you are wearing a brand, be careful what you do, or do not do, in a crowd.

Chickety chick

Well, ok, I relented. My companion is more forgiving, so we tried our 'luck' at the cashier counter and they said we could take the table. What went in? Some chicken meat. fries and pancakes (sort of). How much did it cost me? Too much. That said, the sizes of the chicken wings were quite large, and it comes with a pair of gloves, gratis.

Beauty and the bench

This restaurant refused to seat me and my companion (yeah, just the two of us) at this table, because it is meant for 4 people (maybe five if you squeeze). There wasn't another empty table in sight. I was so flabbergasted that I walked out, taking my money with me. Maybe they just don't need my business anyway.

Spitty bus

You usually would not associate this "do-not" sign in Singapore, more like in China. People in Singapore are not accustomed to such icky habits. This picture was taken off a bus in Singapore. Would it be any wonder as this bus was a China-manufactured one - something that is becoming quite common on Singapore roads.

Haggardly Fashion

Once upon a time, women would do anything to mast off any hint of white hair, typically by dyeing their hair black. You know times have changed when women intentionally dye their hair white, no grey in this instance. Frankly, it makes them look old, haggard even. I wonder why.

Doubly smoked

A woman (in red blouse) smoking away while standing outside the building. It was quite hazy that day. I suppose they are used to this.

New in the old

Malls are fond of putting up retro furnishing nowadays. This TV set harks back to the 1960s and 70s. Except, there is one problem. Can you guess what is wrong?
